Dark Angel Pre-Heresy wore black armor as opposed to the dark green of modern ones. 1)The first step is to prime him black,I use spray primer by Armory 2)Then it is time to basecoat.Make sure you have solid coverage. A good rule of thumb is when you think it's ready, give it one more coat - Chaos Black for the armor not doing this is lazy

Dark Angels and Ultramarines aside, who was the strongest Pre Heresy Legion. So this post was made earlier and it rapidly, but not surprisingly, descended into DA DAoT tech Vs UM numbers. Legions such as the Blood Angels didn't even get a mention. (Good vote for the TSons but tbh that was met with a "yeah whatever" by the rest of the sub)
